Users began asking questions such as: Was Movie2K down because of a hacker attack, or was it the police? Why isn't Movie2K working? Will Movie2K be back up? Based on information from both German sources and the reputable TorrentFreak, prosecutors from Dresden, which is the capital city of the Free State of Saxony in Germany, were behind the Movie2K shutdown. However, as reported by IBT on June 2, Movie4K has now risen to replace the defunct Movie2K.
